Quick Overview

The Californian poppy is a bitter sedative herb that acts as a diuretic, relieves pain, relaxes spasms and promotes perspiration. It is taken internally in the treatment of nervous tension, anxiety, insomnia and incontinence (especially in children). The watery sap is mildly narcotic and has been used to relieve toothache. Its gently antispasmodic, sedative and analgesic actions make it a valuable herbal medicine for treating physical and psychological problems in children.It may also prove beneficial in attempts to overcome bedwetting, difficulty in sleeping and nervous tension and anxiety.


DIRECTIONS: Take 15-30 drops, 2-3 times daily in a little fruit juice or water. Children half adult dose.
INGREDIENTS: Fresh organic Californian Poppy flowering herb (Eschscholzia californica) tincture 1:1 w/v in 25% organic ethanol. Grown in accordance with the Soil Association guidelines for organic farming and production avoiding the use of artificial fertilisers or chemical sprays. Organic farming helps protect the environment.
Contra-indications Store in a cool dark place out of the reach of children. Not for use during pregnancy or breast-feeding. Please note some natural and harmless settlement may occur
