Calcium for Vegans


A common misconception is that plants cannot fulfil your calcium needs, this is a big myth. There are so many great plant based sources! By eating a balanced diet full of nutrient dense foods and also by incorporating calcium fortified foods in to your diet YOU will ensure you reach your RDA.


Plant sources of calcium include bok choy, figs, kale, mustard greens, turnip, watercress, broccoli, chickpeas, sesame seeds and easiest one is to choose fortified plant milks.
