Irish Botancia® Peace & Calm is a Valerian tincture used for the temporary relief of symptoms of mild anxiety and to aid sleep. Valerian is calming and relaxing and relieves irritability, anxiety and nervous tension. It also has a physical and calming effect on the muscles and relieves cramps. In many cases conventional drugs are not suitable for long-term treatment of insomnia, making Valerian an attractive alternative.

Ingredients: Each 5ml of oral liquid contains 2ml of tincture from dried Valerian (Valerian officinalis root) 1:2. Also contains Liquorice Liquid Extract, Orange Oil, Lemon Oil, Coriander Oil, Anise Oil, Ethanol and Sucrose.

Recommended Use: Long-term insomnia: > Take 5ml two times a day during the day (Morning and lunch). > Take one 5ml spoonful 30 minutes before bedtime. Acute insomnia: > Take one 5ml spoonful 30 minutes before bedtime. > Take one 5ml teaspoon If you wake up in the night. > Higher doses can also be taken up to 10ml twice a night if needed. Symptomatic relief of mild anxiety: > Take one 5ml spoonful-can be taken with water or fruit juice as desired.
